Hi all, first real blog post ever here so bare with me.. prepare yourself for all of the grammatical errors, sass, and sarcasm OKUR.

If you are an OG follower than my very first blog post being dedicated to Seattle should come to no surprise lol. I found myself in this city over a year ago. Since then I have continued to visit ever so often. Words cannot describe why this city holds such a huge chunk of my heart but perhaps the following sentence can. Seattle makes me feel a way that no man, ever could. I get emotional just thinking of the distance between myself and this city. This city fuels my creativity, every time I visit I bring back a complete different mindset and outlook on life. When I feel lost, I book a flight and find myself at home.. every single time. I love this city so facking much that I want you to love it too! So I have rounded up a bunch of places to hit up for any of you who have plans to visit the beautiful Emerald city. Start place one, ALWAYS.. because food, culture, and vibes man. Before I loose you with my rambling, know that the most important spot that I am going to recommend is and will always be: Salt And Straw. I don’t want to get into too much detail as I will begin to get sentimental. Seattle is blessed with 2-3 locations, I was blessed to check them all out. Try every single flavor on rotation this day. Tyler Malek would want you too. All I will say is… if you know, you know. K MOVING ON-

P I K E P L A C E M A R K E T I S A M U S T *

Places in the heart of PP: Pike place chowder (lobster roll and chowder are everythannnnggg) Shugs soda fountain and ice cream shop ( all the nostalgia) Beechers (mac n cheese is bomb) DO NOT SLEEP ON THE FLAGSHIP CHEESE HOLY SHET. Fun fact: CEO/ owner of Beechers also owns The Butchers Table where I, Adriana Herrera, had the pleasure of meeting the man himself and got to experience TBT twice. Lunch and dinner here was a dream. Everything is either homemade in the restaurant or locally sourced. Dude makes his own ice cream from the base to end.. for his desserts in house. Want an experience? Save some cash money to splurge, order their Wagyu burger/ Tomahawk, another company this g owns is Mishima Reserve, all the meats, any cut, style (lace style actually) all in house.Did I mention Butchers table was featured in Thrillist? Oh yeah back to Pike Place hehe.. Piroshky Piroshky, First Starbucks EVER (or so you thought, its not really the very first og one.. can confirm that. ask around) Skip the line here and check out the reserve or the actual roastery in Cap Hil. If you are a coffee whore like myself then it is disneyland on juice for YOU. Ellenos Greek Yogurt (obligatory pic of yogurt in front of pike place market sign is a must, if not..Did you really visit PP? Walk through the actual market and buy tulips/flowers for yo momma or ya self or just to do so because I said so k Visit the gum wall Go to Seattle Coffee Works for their dirty chai, do no ask questions, just do. STORYVILLE COFFEE inside pp place is also a must. The view of Alki and the market make my little caffienated heart oh so happy. Oh and back to Sea. Coffee Works, Next door to Seattle coffee works shop there is a cheap clothing store that has everything you need to bring back as a souvenir such as a $15 SE. sweat shirt or a $5 coffee mug Also stop at RGB SODA If you go a little ways down towards the wheel and deck, grab a cup of JOE to go at Pikes place newest, Joe chocolate Co. I absolutely loved their mocha coffee and their coffee infused chocolate. Oh yes and then, take a water taxi to the other side of town for less than $10 and soak in all the views. In the same area (if you are curious to experiment) stop at HAVE A HEART in Belltown dispensary. If you are no daily user like myself go with the less than half a gummy/edible thank me l8rrrr. Oh and google Ganja Goddess, their prices and product are more bang for ya buck, kinda deal. Cap hill WOOOOO, IS A MUST, not too far away from the market either. You can catch an uber or just walk, even in the rain.. Pro tip, ditch the umbrella.. those are for pansies LOL. Just accept the PNW rain for what it is and soak that shit in. Go to General Porpoise order ten malasadas and espresso Next door: Frankie & jos, ITS EVERYTHAAAANNNGGGG ( ask to taste test every flavor because vegan and y not?) Hit up Molly Moons ice cream scoop shop (if you do not we cannot be friends) Oh and not to be negative nancy but she does not make her own base.. its cool though because it is still YUM. Also, in the same area.. Odd fellows café, next door is LITTLE odd fellows book store and coffee. JUST GO,. Skip the space needle, hit up The Smith Tower. Visit The nest in the evening to get lit and soak in that gorg Seattle view. You can try the Frolik as well but the view there does not compare to what you will get in at The Nest. If you want to get a little more adventurous, check out The Mountneering Club. OH & STOP AT EVERY BAR IN BELLTOWN / CAP HILL. Just dive straight in for a drink and go. If you find yourself with more time on your hands, visit Alkhi beach / Gas works park Mt Rainier Visit Saltys for lunch / brunch as it is located right over alki and you get all of the views. Sisters and brothers bar (best hot fried chicken and waffles in all of WA) Nates wings and waffles (ignore their waffles, stay for the wings, mac and cheese and spiked ginger beer) some famous NBA all star owns this place, Nate something, The place is popping but the price and waffles are a let down. Guy should stick to bball. Fats chicken and waffles ( I hear is bomb, on my list for my next trip) Bicuit Bitch SALT AND STRAW ICE CREAM YAAASSSSS ( haha back to this per my intro) JUST GO (ORDER THEIR SPECIAL SCOOP MADE WITH BEECHERS CHEESE, PEPPERCORN AND TOFFEE) oh yesssss DICKS is a Seattle staple. It’s basically our IN N OUT but their fries will actually cross your eyes. Maono’s fried chicken, the one I went to was located in the Univ. of Wa district, also RGB soda collab with them so they share the place. Order their chicken sw of course and a side of their bomb mac n cheese. In the same area is St Helens café, their apps alone were bomb. Again, If you have time, please try going for a hike. Literally. I wet hiking for the first time ever on my last trip to Crystal Mountain. Besides being scared for my life, it is something I will cherish and remember forever. Thanks to my sweet amiga Alex, she showed me Seattle the right way. I also went on a boat ride on Lake Tapps with her and we water biked. I had my first brunch / dinner by the lake thanks to her and her sweet family. Okay enough of the sentimental stuff (if you are reading this Alex, I miss you, I love you) ok sooooo again, more time on your hands? Consider venturing out towards Tacoma, WA. Hit up frisko freeze. Their cheeseburgers are like Mcdonalds but on juice. Parking anywhere is a betch so uber/lyft would be ideal. I do not recall free parking anywhere and did a lot of walking. I have more recos but have not actually visited myself. Friends of mine that live there recommended these places so if you are interested lmk! That is all for now, if you are still reading so sorry for all of the grammar errors. I am glad you are here and if a visit to Seattle is in your future, dm me on insta! I want to know all about it.

Xoxo,
